How long does private provider plan review take?

What codes does Florida Private Providers review against?
We review for full compliance with the 2023 Florida Building Code (FBC), Florida Energy Conservation Code (FECC), National Electrical Code (NEC), and all applicable local amendments.
Do you review residential and commercial projects?
Yes — we review all project types: single-family residences, multi-family, commercial tenant improvements, new commercial construction, industrial, and mixed-use.
What happens after plan review is approved?
We submit our compliance report to the local building department, which accepts it in lieu of their own review. The building department then issues the permit.
Can I use a private provider in any Florida county?
Yes. Florida Statute 553.791 applies statewide. We serve all 67 Florida counties.
